Ganesh Coil Works (GCW) was founded by a technocrat with a mission to manufacture reliable transformers & reactors to fulfil specific requirements demanded by the industry market. It commenced its maiden production during the year 1989 exclusively catering to power electronic segment.
Anticipating the need for reliable and energy efficient products in distribution and power sector, the unit was moved to its own premises at Peenya industrial area, Bangalore. The best production plant technology together with know-how and experienced committed staff, guarantees that the end result to manufacture transformers of range up to 12.5 MVA , 33KV class is of highest quality. The company has also established full-fledged testing division to ensure that the products rolled out will conform to all the relevant standards. The manufacture is being carried out strictly in accordance with the quality assurance procedures, which meets National & International standards. The company has supplied the transformers to various customers for diverse applications. The company has had the privilege of supplying special transformers and reactors to leading and reputed transformer manufacturing companies also.
The company has a panel of design engineers who having trained abroad are specialized in transformer design for diverse applications like distribution, power, furnace, rectifier, booster, lighting, etc. and who will ensure that each and every product manufactured, is optimally designed for low operational cost and provide reliable services for longer periods. The transformers are successfully tested for short circuit test & high voltage test at CPRI Bangalore.
